In the lead-up to The Nationals, Bowls ACT will be taking a look at our representative players, with thanks to representative partners Westcoast Bowls!
Open Women
The ACT Open Womens side shows heaps of potential off the back of a strong 2023 Sides campaign in Perth.
Players like Chloe Morrison, Ruth Moore and Margaret Bacchetto will be looking to use all of their experience to win, while newer team members such as Annette Mitchell, Cherie Climas and Jodie Marshall look to stamp their name on the competition.
Bowls ACT look forward to watching this exciting group in action and will be cheering on from down here!
Open Men
A fresh face group will take to the big stage this year in the Open Mens Squad, with half of the squad making their Sides Debut this year!
Mac McLean, Jamie Smith and Flynn O’Shaughnessy lead the way for the side with experienced veterans Sean Robertson and Michael Bielski following suit. Harvey McAlister, Joel Dowsett and Brad Hills are just some of the debutants looking to put their best foot forward.
Bowls ACT are pumped to see this young squad have a strong run against all of the other states.
