ACT & Federal Grants Programs NOW OPEN
ACT Sport & Recreation has opened submissions for the 2023 ACT Community Sport Facilities Program and the 2023 Club Enhancement Program, both of which clubs can apply for funding for a wide range of projects.
The Club Enhancement Program provides funding up to $10,000 to further develop programs and services clubs provide within the Canberra community.
The Community Sport Facilities Program provides larger sums, up to $2,000,000 as assistance to not-for-profit sport, recreation and community organisations to develop fit for purpose, sustainable and accessible places and spaces for sport and active recreation.
Funding can be used for the development of new, or the upgrade of current facilities which maintain or increase physical activity, through rational development of sustainable, good quality, well-designed and well-utilised facilities.
The Federal Government’s Stronger Communities Program has funding available for small capital projects of up to $20,000 with each electorate allocated total funding of up to $150,000 that can be distributed to successful applications. A maximum of 20 projects will be funded in each electorate. For this grant you will need to be invited to apply by your federal member, however THIS IS A SIMPLE process and applicants invited to apply will be half-way there.
