Senior Sides – Players of the Series
Congratulations to Cliff Gilbert (Canberra City) and Jeff Bradley (Weston Creek) who were voted ACT’s men’s players of the Series (eq) after a long a tough week in Launceston at the National Senior Sides. Although only defeating NT outright, the ACT men went down by tiny margins in several other games.
The women, on the other hand, made ‘minced meat’ out of Victoria, NSW, WA and the NT to come equal third (4th on count back). Player of the series ACT Women’s section was Helena Megee (Belconnen).
