ACT Teams Announced for 2016 Australian Sides
The selectors have announced their teams to take part in the 2016 Australian National Sides event to be held at Queanbeyan BC and QRSLM from March 31 to April 5. Both the Men’s and Women’s selectors have stuck largely with their 2015 teams with only a few new faces in each.
In the Men’s team, we welcome back to the ACT Andrew Howie after a couple of years playing for NSW. Peter Watts (Belconnen) returns to the Sides after a 6 six year “sides sabbatical”! Also new to the team is Danial Wilson (Yass) and Rob Kyle (Tuggeranong).
In the Women’s team, Kellie Cartledge (Tuggeranong) makes her Sides debut, accompanied by Chloe Morrison (Tuggeranong) and Jessica Hogan (Weston Creek) – both experienced Junior Sides players.
